I so want to know what those little pumpkins were on that platter. Were they candies? Cakes? A treat of sorts?Rechelle ~Walnuthaven Cottage~https://www.blogger.com/profile/00532760613588553175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2217940134822691415.post-49464230580105142992008-10-15T11:11:00.000-05:002008-10-15T11:11:00.000-05:00Great pictures of the barn party! I sell enough to pay the rent and buy more. At this point I haven't even made enough to file taxes. The only antiques dealers who make money are the ones who deal in the high end stuff.
Yes,the rent on those booth's can get high and it's normal to charge as much as 20% commission. It all depends on the size and location of the store. IF a person were to make a living wage at it you would have to have several booths in several malls as well as travel to auctions and sell on the internet.
Don't be fooled being an Antique dealer is a lot of work.

Thanks for asking, and have a great day.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11406718462312651462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2217940134822691415.post-20946655717934804612008-10-14T19:53:00.000-05:002008-10-14T19:53:00.000-05:00Thats too funny about the cows. You'd never guess.W...Thats too funny about the cows. You'd never guess.
What are those pumpkin things on the platter?
Also,I LOVE your little ghosties floating about. That Crazy Ajummahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15874359006831711711noreply@blogger.com
