You asked me about antique booths. In truth the profit fluctuates a lot. For the most part it's just a way to cycle you're junk. I sell enough to pay the rent and buy more. At this point I haven't even made enough to file taxes. The only antiques dealers who make money are the ones who deal in the high end stuff. Yes,the rent on those booth's can get high and it's normal to charge as much as 20% commission. It all depends on the size and location of the store. IF a person were to make a living wage at it you would have to have several booths in several malls as well as travel to auctions and sell on the internet. Don't be fooled being an Antique dealer is a lot of work.
A real barn party? Being in such an urban area, I'd never think they still happened. It makes me think of "Little House on the Prarie". I absolutely love it. I so want to know what those little pumpkins were on that platter. Were they candies? Cakes? A treat of sorts?
