Dear HUBBY, are you reading this POST?
I must resort to walking out each morning and pouring a cup of birdseed out for the little buggers.
They got an extra treat with the apples that were going bad.
Normally I give the fruit to our chickens. The chickens got the oranges.
While doing our school work this morning....we were able to take time to smell the roses...oops, that is for another day and time....we were able to watch the birdies.
Can you spot the Cardinal?

Hi Traci, They are great pictures. The birds are so pretty. I wasnt too keen on birds last week though as a pheasant flew into our hire car and put a dent in the bonnet (we had only had the car 3 hours!!)
oooh, love those little friends. great pictures!
Oh, they are so sweet! I don't have a bird feeder either, so we throw out bread pieces and the birds love it! SO do the squirrels-lol! We have these teeny ones I do need to get a pic of if I can and ask my mom what they are-she is a really great bird id'er :0)
Awe. The birdies are soooo cute and there are so many of them! I think you need a bird feeder!!! I love to hang humingbird feeders during the spring. The way they just hover while they're eating is so mesmerizing. Great pics!
I would love to have a bird feeder but my hubby was not pleased the last time I tried that as they left lots and lots of "gifts" on our truck as they flew by...ooops! I just have to be content to watch them as they come to our yard on thir own - we do get alot anyway in the summer and every spring a tree in our front yard becomes the gathering place for many, many birds of all varieties as they love to eat the berries that stay on the tree all winter. I have no idea what kind of tree it is but they only eat the berries in the spring when they have been on the tree all winter.
Thank you for sharing!
Blessings,
Liisa
