Prom with Friends....

My middle daughter, Sydni went to the local
High School Prom with a few of her friends.
And you know me....had to make sure I blogged the
adventure.....
...and it doesn't bother her one bit that everyone tells her she
looks like her mommy!

We spent the whole afternoon having a girls pamper party....
who needs salons when you've got MOMS?
One mom did the make-up, one did the nails and one did the hair....
I'm sure by looking at the VINTAGE HAIRSTYLES...you
couldn't possibly guess who did the HAIR now could you?

There were KILLER BEES in the Azalea bushes.....my daughter
also shares my extreme aversion to those things.....

I think I want this picture blown up into
a poster.....make it an album cover!!!
I STILL LOVE MY CAMERA!!
I did find out that I need to be more careful
when I am ON STEROIDS...some of the best pics were
too blurry because I was shaking so bad....
I will be soooo glad to get off these meds.

Hi~ I was just on your blog and about to comment when I got called away--when I came back you had commented on my blog. lol Your daughter looks beautiful and it sure sounds like a lot of fun.

The snow is melting very slowly right now as it is not that warm. I am sure you have seen ND on the news with the flooding last week. It's going to be one long spring is all I can say! :)
Hugs~

Oh,I love that last picture!
They all look so beautiful/handsome.
My 17 yr old just announced last week that shes changed her mind and will go to her prom after all...on the 25th.
ACK!
...And she has no clue why I panicked over the late notice.
*sigh*

What beautiful dresses. I loved the girls pampering idea. How fun that must have been!

And I must confess, that last picture was my favorite. Great pics.

Why wouldn't she want to look like her mommy? She's beautiful! :o) Hope they had a great time and that you are feeling better soon!

Loving that last picture, they are all so good though! I hope they had a great time.

That dishwasher project is a great one! I've been thinking about it but my only issue is that ours is rounded on the edges instead of square. I may be able to make it look right with some careful cutting though. Or maybe I should do that and still paint it to match the cabinets.....hmmmm... Thanks for the idea!
